REFUNDS

Refunds are given on a case-by-case basis and completely at the discretion of Connor’s Craft Cakes. Should the client choose to cancel or reschedule, a refund will only be provided should Connor’s Craft Cakes chose to do so.

PAYMENTS

Order payments are issued via emailed invoice where clients may pay via credit which will incur a 3.3% service fee.

ALLERGEN WARNING

Connor's Craft Cakes LLC bakes products that contain milk, eggs, cream cheese, buttermilk, butter, wheat (contains gluten), possibly alcohol, tree nuts, and soy. By placing this order through any of the available payment options below, you are agreeing that you understand these ingredients are present in the ordered products and Connor's Craft Cakes LLC will not be held responsible for allergic reactions or personal reactions to food intolerances.

PRODUCT STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY

Once the client is in full possession of the cake, it is no longer Connor’s Craft Cakes responsibility should it fall, break, melt etc... But of course I'm happy to communicate and work with you if you need advice on storage or transport. If the cake is being displayed outdoors in a shaded area, the cake should (not guaranteed) be able to maintain its structural integrity for about 2 hours in moderate temperatures (~70). If indoors with air conditioning, the cakes may be able to last longer, about 3-5 hours. Do not allow cake to be in direct sunlight even in cool weather! Direct sunlight and/or warm temperatures can immediately cause the cake to melt and the design to deteriorate. All of these guidelines are generalities and cannot be taken as guarantees. Cakes are made with edible materials (e.g. butter) that become soft with increased temperature, so when in doubt keep the product in the refrigerator and consume within 1-2 days of purchase.

DAMAGES
Connor’s Craft Cakes is not responsible for any damages to the products(s) after pick-up or delivery. Great care is taken on the part of the business to ensure its products will maintain their structural integrity, but once the product is in the hands of the client, Connor’s Craft Cakes relinquishes all responsibility of the order’s condition or appearance.

LOCAL PICK-UP POLICY

All orders are to be picked up from Connor’s Craft Cakes in Encinitas, CA. The address will be disclosed after payment is received.

A few days prior to your pick-up date, you will be contacted to arrange a 30-minute pick up window reserved just for you. If the client who is picking up the order does not show during their pick-up time, Connor’s Craft Cakes cannot guarantee that the schedule can be accommodated. Should the client need to reschedule a pick-up order, Connor’s Craft Cakes may be able to accommodate only if its business operations allow it do so. Pickups might be able to be rescheduled (time dependent on availability) but items will not be re-made. No-shows are liable to not receive their order and will be donated.

TRANSPORTATION

Products provided to clients via pick-up will be stored in a fully-enclosed bakery box straight out of the refrigerator. The product must be kept in a car that is fully air-conditioned with the item protected from direct sunlight. The item must be kept upright, level and secure. Car seats are not level and therefore not the ideal place for the cake or product to sit. It is recommended to either have a passenger hold the item securely on their lap or to place the item in front of the passenger seat on the floor of the car on a non-slip surface. Drive slowly and carefully! Take slow turns and do not accelerate quickly. Cakes are not secured to their cake boards and if given enough inertia they will slip off of their cake board. Once the cake arrives at its destination it is advised to put the cake directly in the refrigerator upright and level. If these recommendations are not followed, Connor’s Craft Cakes will not be held liable for any damages to the products sold. Even if the recommendations are followed and products are still damaged Connor’s Craft Cakes is still not be held liable.

FLASH SALE POLICY

Connor’s Craft Cakes may occasionally offer “flash sales” via Instagram (IG) stories. Flash sales are not always planned or scheduled. These sales will be a “spur-of-the-moment” product that will be mainly sold on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

How it works:

1. Connor will post a flash sale item on Connor’s Craft Cakes IG story with its associated price and pick-up time.

2. The first person to reply via direct-message (DM) to Connor’s Craft Cakes IG story will be awarded the item should they follow-through with the payment. Payment for flash sales is via Venmo only (@connorscraftcakes). The client will have 30 minutes to submit payment once Connor confirms that the item has been awarded.

3. Once Connor's Craft Cakes confirms the payment has been received by the client, they must pick-up the item during the specified time window by Connor’s Craft Cakes in the IG story. Pickup times are always listed in the original IG story and are not negotiable. No shows will not be given a refund, and tardy pick-ups cannot be rescheduled should Connor’s Craft Cakes be unable to do so.

4. There are no refunds should a client choose to cancel or change their mind.
