I believe the most meaningful wedding cakes are not designed around a trend, but around the people they're created for.

My work begins with getting to know the couple—through thoughtful conversation and a deep study of the world they're creating for their celebration, I look for the subtle things that make them them.

I then translate those discoveries into a singular sculptural piece: a cake that could only have been created for that couple.

My story began in Bend, Oregon, and took a detour through Civil Engineering and the United States Air Force. But throughout it all, I was always drawn to creativity—particularly creativity around food and design.

In 2022, I embarked on a new adventure in sunny San Diego, trading my corporate career for the freedom to create. While my professional path was far from food, my mind was constantly spinning around my next creation—and no, I wasn’t always following the recipe like I was supposed to.

It wasn't until a family gathering in North County San Diego that serendipity struck. I baked three cakes that left the crowd clamoring for more—and demanding business cards. The reaction was impossible to ignore, and I decided to follow my newfound calling.

Since then, I've immersed myself in the art of cake design and flavor, becoming deeply invested in creating fine art wedding cakes. I’m particularly passionate about developing distinctive flavors inspired by fine dining and elevated cuisine.

Every commission is an opportunity to tell a story through sculpture, flavor, and design—and to create something that could only belong to the people who inspired it.
