Each cupcake can be adorned with either a single large hand-piped buttercream blossom, or with three smaller blossoms. They include buttercream foliage around each blossom arrangement, with type and colors complimentary to your centerpiece cake, if applicable. Flavors with multiple components are engineered differently in cupcakes as opposed to regular layered cakes: for example, crunchy components are made into a crust as the base of the cupcake, with fillings piped into the core, and/or spread as a thin layer on the top.

Kitchen cakes are undecorated round cakes typically prepared for the kitchen staff to cut and serve. If your centerpiece cake feeds fewer servings than your ideal guest count, kitchen cakes are a great way to supplement your cake servings.
